Website Terms · Singapore
Terms for using
this website.
These terms govern access to mayneloh.com, its public resources, interactive tools and website communications. Paid consulting work is governed by a separate written agreement.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Website Terms (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Mayne & Loh Pte. Ltd. (“Mayne & Loh”, “we”, “us” or “our”) regarding use of mayneloh.com and the public content, resources and interactive features made available through it.
You confirm that you have legal capacity to accept these Terms. If you use the website on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to do so.
2. About the website
The website provides information about Mayne & Loh’s retail, operations, customer experience and practical AI consulting services. It may also provide:
- educational articles, checklists, frameworks and guides;
- directional assessments and pulse checks;
- illustrative dashboards, workflows and app interfaces;
- AI assistants, concept generators and other interactive demonstrations;
- testimonials, historical results and representative case studies; and
- forms for enquiries, working-session requests and Learning Hub updates.
Website content may be changed, withdrawn or replaced without notice.
3. General information, not professional advice
Website content is provided for general business information and educational purposes. It is not legal, financial, tax, accounting, cybersecurity, employment, regulatory, medical or other regulated professional advice.
You are responsible for obtaining advice appropriate to your organisation, jurisdiction, systems, data, contracts and risk profile before acting on website information.
No website content should be treated as a substitute for examining the relevant evidence, operational context, technical requirements and legal obligations.
4. Learning resources, diagnostics and assessments
Learning Hub frameworks, pulse checks, maturity assessments and similar tools are educational and directional. They are not audits, certifications, warranties or formal findings.
Results depend on the answers entered and may not reflect the views of other stakeholders, available data or actual operating conditions. A high or low score does not establish compliance, performance, risk or commercial value.
You may use public frameworks internally for legitimate business discussion, subject to the intellectual-property terms below. You must not present a self-assessment result as a certification issued by Mayne & Loh.
5. AI assistants, generated output and app previews
AI assistants, generated concepts and app previews may produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable output. They are demonstrations and conversation aids, not autonomous consultants or production systems.
- Do not enter passwords, payment-card information, identity documents, customer lists, legally privileged material or sensitive personal data.
- Do not rely on generated output for a consequential decision without independent human review.
- A generated app concept does not create software, a database, a security design, a technical specification or a commitment to build.
- Mayne & Loh does not guarantee that generated content is unique or free of third-party similarity.
Where a tool states that it runs locally in the browser, it is intended not to transmit the entered content. Other tools may transmit content to a technology provider. Refer to the relevant page and the Privacy Policy.
6. Testimonials, results and case studies
Named testimonials and numerical outcomes describe historical experiences in particular businesses and circumstances. They are not guarantees, projections or typical-results claims.
Representative or composite case studies may combine and anonymise patterns from confidential work. Unless expressly stated, a composite case does not describe one identified client and may not include a public numerical result.
References to Harvey Norman, Courts, Spotlight or other organisations as part of Richard Mayne’s career describe prior employment or operating experience and should not be interpreted as Mayne & Loh client endorsements.
7. Working sessions, proposals and consulting engagements
A free working session is an initial conversation and does not require either party to proceed. It is not a complete diagnostic and does not create a duty to provide services.
A proposal, estimate or statement of possible timing is subject to its stated validity, assumptions and exclusions. A paid engagement starts only when the parties accept a written proposal, contract or other engagement document.
The engagement document will govern scope, deliverables, fees, payment, intellectual property, confidentiality, data handling, dependencies, support, liability and termination. If it conflicts with these Website Terms in relation to paid services, the engagement document prevails.
8. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, Mayne & Loh or its licensors own the website design, text, graphics, frameworks, assessments, code, videos, branding and other content.
You may view, print and use public resources internally for personal or legitimate internal business purposes, provided that you:
- do not remove attribution, copyright or proprietary notices;
- do not sell, license, republish or commercially distribute the content;
- do not copy substantial portions into a competing product, training programme, assessment or consultancy offering; and
- do not imply endorsement, partnership or certification.
“Mayne & Loh” and associated branding may not be used without written permission.
9. Permitted and prohibited use
You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server, forms, accounts or connected systems;
- introduce malware, automated attacks or harmful code;
- scrape, crawl or extract content at a scale that disrupts the website or creates a competing dataset or service;
- circumvent access, rate, security or technical controls;
- impersonate another person or submit false or misleading information;
- use the website to infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality or other rights; or
- use an AI assistant to generate unlawful, harmful or deceptive content.
We may block or restrict access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or the website is at risk.
10. Information and materials you submit
You remain responsible for information you submit. You confirm that you have the right to provide it and that doing so does not breach confidentiality, privacy, intellectual-property or other obligations.
Do not submit confidential client data, personal datasets, trade secrets, source code, privileged documents or security credentials through a general website form or AI assistant. A secure and agreed process should be established before project data is shared.
You grant Mayne & Loh the limited right to use submitted information to respond to the request, operate the relevant tool, assess an opportunity and provide agreed services, subject to the Privacy Policy and any later engagement terms.
11. Third-party websites and services
The website may link to or rely on third-party services such as hosting, video, social media, analytics, cloud, forms, scheduling and AI providers. Mayne & Loh does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, terms or privacy practices.
A link does not imply endorsement. Your use of a third-party service is subject to that provider’s terms and policies.
12. Website availability and security
We aim to keep the website useful and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or secure operation. The website may be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting issues, attacks, software errors or events beyond our control.
Mayne & Loh may change, suspend or discontinue any page, feature, assessment, form or interactive tool. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security, backups and controls for your own devices and systems.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its public content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Mayne & Loh does not warrant that:
- content is complete, current, accurate or suitable for a particular purpose;
- use of a framework, assessment, AI response or concept will produce a particular result;
- the website will be uninterrupted, secure or free from defects or harmful components; or
- third-party information, integrations or links will remain available.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mayne & Loh will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential loss arising from website use, including loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, data or anticipated savings.
Mayne & Loh will not be liable for decisions made solely in reliance on public website content, an automated assessment, AI-generated output, an illustrative case study or an app concept preview.
Where liability connected with the public website cannot be excluded, Mayne & Loh’s aggregate liability will be limited to the greater of SGD 100 and the amount, if any, paid specifically for the website feature giving rise to the claim. This clause does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited.
15. Privacy and personal data
Personal data collected through the website is handled in accordance with the Mayne & Loh Privacy Policy. By submitting information, you acknowledge that it may be processed as described there.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the website, services, technology or legal requirements change. The revised version will be published at this URL with a new “last updated” date.
Continued use of the website after publication of revised Terms indicates acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. You and Mayne & Loh submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
Before beginning formal proceedings, the parties should first attempt in good faith to resolve a website-related dispute through direct discussion, unless urgent relief is required.
If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
